Carol Anne Germain is an Information Literacy Librarian. She teaches information literacy courses, participates in reference, and develops web-based instructional resources. She is one of the co-creators of CitationFox, a citation tool developed at the University at Albany. Her research includes usability, URL persistence in academic resources, and information literacy.
Laurie Dreyer is a recent transplant to New York State from Northern California, where she earned a BA in International Relations from UCDavis. She is entering her second year in the dual degree program at University at Albany in which she will earn an MS in Information Science and an MA in Public History. She has worked in public and academic libraries and archives and would like to explore self-directed learning in the public sphere.
